Wordless Wednesday

Peek-A-Boo

Ethan's nightly book, included a game of peek-a-boo. To which he very happily and clearly replied,

"I see you!".

Here he is reading today in the cape I made him:)

He loves it!

Runs around the house putting his arms up,

spinning, and saying, "Shhhhwashhhhh!"

Wish I could slow time, but for now,

I will do my best to capture it!

Swings, Slides, and Smiles... Oh My!

Over the past week the boys having been getting lots of enjoyment out of the play-set.

He loves coming out after we take Orion

to the bus stop for a little morning swing:)

Still can't keep him out of our

neighbors sandbox though!

His favorite part by far is the slide!

He has already fashioned himself a pulley system in the tree.

Ethan also has a new love for the trampoline,

since it was moved to accommodate the play-set.

But when he is done, he is done!

It feels great to be getting so much use out of our backyard...

we ae loving it!!

Some Assembly Required

Last weekend we finally purchased our very own new/used wooden playset! Ken found one on Craigslist for only $100, all we had to do was take it apart and get it transported back here. Our wonderful friend Andrew T. happily helped Ken take it down, load it, and unload it. Thank you Andrew!!!!

Once in the backyard it was our responsibility... so... can we build it? Yeah!

Folk Fest '09

A couple of weekends ago, while Orion was off at Grandmother's hanging with cousin Connor:) Ken, me, and Ethan were able to attend the annual Richmond Folk Festival downtown! So many sights and sounds for Mr. Ethan to take in... his favorite... the music and the animals!
